Sleep Away Your Stress

As l'm addicted to the comfort of my own bed, l was delighted to read that having a lie-in is actually beneficial to your health. An article which appears in this months edition of Superdrug's magazine 'Spirit' says:

'Research at the University of Westminster showed that people who get up before 7.22am have higher levels of cortisol (the energy-sapping stress hormone) throughout the day than those who get up later.'

Nice to know l have a good excuse for another twenty minutes snooze in the morning.
